Casino Night Benefit
Where/When: Saturday, March 5 at 8:30 p.m. at the Inwood Country Club in Inwood.
Why Go: This event will help raise money for the JCC of the Greater Five Towns' Kol Ditzrich Kosher Food Pantry. Bring your family and friends to this night of entertainment, which will include a buffet, coffee bar, desserts, and prizes. No cash value rewards will be awarded.
Pricing: $100 per person ($180 for two).
Night of Song and Dance
Where/When: Sunday, March 6 at 4 p.m. at Lawrence High School in Cedarhurst.
Why Go: The Lawrence Dance Department, along with Mark Buttice and the Swing Easy Band, will perform several song and dance numbers, including several Frank Sinatra Classics. The event benefits the Andrea Rizzo Foundation.

From Broadway to the Met
Where/When: Sunday, March 6 at 2 p.m. at the Long Beach Public Library in Long Beach.
Why Go: A night of entertainment welcomes you during a presentation of "From Broadway to the Met," put on by the Avanti Society. The program features pianist and accordionist Dominic Karcic and tenor Bruce Reed.

Mardi Gras Party
Where/When: Saturday, March 5 at 9 p.m. at Lola's Kitchen and Wine Bar in Long Beach.
Why Go: Who doesn't love a great Mardi Gras party? You'll receive beads, masks, other giveaways, and be treated to special musical guests, including Lil' Cliff and the Cliffhangers. Lola's is also offering $5 Svedka Hurricanetinis and "Who Dat Blues" martinis.

Zumba
Where/When: Saturday, March 5 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. at Lady of America in West Hempstead.
Why Go: A combination of dance and fitness, Zumba classes will get your blood flowing and give you a great workout, all while having fun!
Pricing: Free for members; $10 for non-members.
Roll Around Play Days
Where/When: Sunday, March 6 from 9:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. at the John A. Anderson Recreation Center in Rockville Centre.
Why Go: Children ages 1-4 can enjoy one another's company during this play session, which is held every Sunday.
Pricing: $8 per family (children and adult)
Gymnastics Workshop
Where/When: Saturday, Feb. 19 from 9-10:30 a.m. at Marion Street Elementary School.
Why Go: This is a great fitness activity for boys and girls ages 6-12.
Pricing: $75 for one child ($60 for each additional child).
