It's Beginning To Look A Lot Like Christmas...

Volunteers in Malverne spent their Saturday afternoon decorating the village parks.

Even though the turkey has not been carved yet and Santa has yet to make his first appearance in the Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade, the "elves" in Malverne have already been working hard. This weekend they worked their magic, decorating the village for the holiday season approaching.

Volunteers from Project Enroll Now, the Girl Scouts, Mothers of Malverne and the newest baseball team in town, the Malverne Mud Hens, covered the village parks on Nov. 20 with Christmas lights and over-sized ornaments.

They did it all just for the promise of hot chocolate and the satisfaction of seeing the village decked out for the holiday season. Take a look at the photos to see them in action and the final transformation.
