Jan. 18: Pilates Class, Lynbrook Soccer Player in Elite Company

We hope everyone enjoyed their day off for Martin Luther King, Jr. Day yesterday. But now it's back to the grind, as village shops and schools closed for the holiday are back to business as usual.

1 — The Per Sempre Ladies Lodge 2344A Order Sons of Italy in America will hold a general meeting from 7:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. at its headquarters at 815a Sunrise Highway in Lynbrook. 3 — Calling all non-cooks! Drop by on Atlantic Avenue for a five-part series on the basics of cooking, including how to measure, read and understand a recipe, and setting up your kitchen.
