Jan. 22: Preschool Open House, News From the Towns Around Us

Five things of interest happening in Lynbrook this weekend.

Here are five things of interest happening in Lynbrook this weekend:

1 — The Lynbrook Recreation Center is holding its Pre-School Open House at the pre-school at Greis Park on Saturday from 10 a.m. to noon. Parents can sign up their 3- and 4-year-old children for pre-school for the 2011-12 school year.

2 — The Lynbrook Recreation Center will also be holding its weekly gymnastics program for boys and girls ages 6-12 on Saturday from 9-10:30 a.m. at Marion Street School in Lynbrook. The program is $75 per person.

3 — Lynbrook Patch will be posting a Girl Scouting column later today. Check back after 1 p.m. to read this column.
