2. MOMS See Malverne's Movie Star: Still haven't seen Blue Valentine in theaters yet? Not only is the film garnering the attention of Hollywood critics and earning award nominations for Ryan Gosling and Michelle Williams, their co-star, lives in Malverne. Since the movie is now playing at the Malverne Cinema, the Mothers of Malverne are hosting a trip to the local theater tonight to see the film followed by dessert. 3. IRS Secrets Revealed: Learn nearly 150 tax-saving strategies at this special workshop with  Barry Lisak, an IRS enrolled agent, at the tonight. Lisak will tell you ways to reduce both Federal and New York State taxes. He'll cover deductions for education, retirement, home ownership, charitable, medical, investment, employee, and the new 2010 Tax Laws. 4. School News: Good luck to students in and , and and High Schools, who start mid-term exams today. Congrats to the students at in West Hempstead who will be inducted into the National Junior Honor Society tonight. 5. Pro-Life March: Some members of local churches in Malverne and West Hempstead, including and , will travel to the nation's capitol today for the annual Pro-Life March Pro-Life March. The buses depart at 6am for Washington D.C. and return later tonight. Participants will join in a rally against abortion around noon. For more information, click here.
