Jan. 28: Lynbrook Library Events, Nassau Reacts to NIFA Takeover

Five things to know in Lynbrook on Friday.

Here are five things you need to know in Lynbrook today:

1 — The snow isn't going anywhere soon, but some of it may begin to melt as temperatures reach into the mid-30s today. Light snow is expected beginning Friday afternoon.

2 — The Lynbrook Public Library will be hosting two Lil' Playmates sessions today. The first, for children of walking age to 19 months, will be held from 10-10:45 a.m. The second, for children 20-29 months, will be held from 11:15 a.m. to noon. Registration is required for both programs.

3 — The Lynbrook New Vision Party held its annual awards dinner last week. We'll have a story and photos from the event up later today.
