Pursuit Ends With Arrest: If you heard a helicopter flying over West Hempstead Tuesday evening, it was part of a search by Nassau County Police for a teen who allegedly fled after trying to break into two vehicles. Cops caught the 16-year-old Lakeview resident and he will be arraigned today on various charged. for the story.

Two Valedictorians?: Malverne High School issued a statement Wednesday morning regretfully admitting that an error was made when calculating the rankings of its seniors, causing the titles of valedictorian and salutatorian for the Class of 2011 to be bestowed on the wrong students.
