June 20: New Patch Blogs, Village Board Meets

1 — Want to share your thoughts on the U.S. Open? Weigh in on whether same-sex marriage should be legalized in New York? Then head over to the Lynbrook Public Library at 1 p.m. for its "Can We Talk? 2 — The Lynbrook village board meets tonight at 7 p.m. There's a lot on the agenda, and Patch will be posting those details later today.

3 — Of particular interest on the board's agenda is the naming of Lynbrook's Man and Woman of the Year. You can head down to the meeting at Lynbrook Village Hall or watch on Lynbrook TV. And Patch will have coverage of the event later this week.
