June 26: Lynbrook Patch to Merge with Malverne
A look at today's news and announcements.
- The big news from Monday is that Lynbrook Patch will soon be . Starting June 28, Lynbrook Patch and Malverne-West Hempstead Patch will become one and form Malverne-Lynbrook Patch, with existing editor Tara Conry covering the three communities.
- In regards to Thursday's merger, you're going to want to head over to the Malverne-West Hempstead Patch Facebook page immediately and click "like." Starting Thursday, it will become the Malverne-Lynbrook page!

- Assemblyman Brian Curran is seeking the help of all of his constituents as he competes in the Town of Oyster Bay Triathlon for the benefit of the Wounded Warrior Project. Come back this morning at 10 a.m. for all of the details.
- Per Sempre Lodge No. 2344 Order Sons of Italy's is tonight at 8 p.m. They have moved to their new location 381 Sunrise Highway (rear building entrance). Doors will open at 7:30 p.m.
