- We're going to keep reminding you that Lynbrook Patch will soon be . Starting June 28, Lynbrook Patch and Malverne-West Hempstead Patch will become one and form Malverne-Lynbrook Patch, with existing editor Tara Conry covering the three communities.
- A big part of Thursday's merger is heading over to the Malverne-West Hempstead Patch Facebook page immediately and clicking "like." Starting Thursday, it will become the Malverne-Lynbrook page and the Lynbrook Patch Facebook page will cease to be.
- The Lynbrook Fire Department were honored with a special award for the fifth consecutive year this past weekend. Come back at 8 a.m. to see exactly what it was.

Not to mention 13 week vacations as well as numerous 1/2 days and weather shortened days. A $50000 band aid we end up paying indirectly anyway only increases taxes further down the road.
They are either that stupid or they think we are!
