LIRR Adds Holiday Service on Babylon Branch
Additional trains added in anticipation of early getaway.
The Long Island Rail Road is providing additional service on the Babylon Branch on Tuesday to accommodate riders planning an early getaway for the July 4th holiday.
The additional service is as follows:
- 2:24 p.m. express to Lynbrook, then all stops to Babylon.
- 3 p.m. stopping at Jamaica, Rockville Centre, then all stops to Babylon.
- 3:31 p.m. express to Rockville Centre, then all stops to Babylon.
On July 4, the LIRR will operate on a Sunday/holiday schedule.

For additional schedule information, customers may contact the LIRR's Travel Information Center by calling 511, the New York State Travel Information Line, and say: Long Island Rail Road. Customers may also visit the LIRR’s website.
