Lynbrook Native's A Capella Group Gets Rave Reviews on 'The Sing Off'

Andrea O'Neill and "The Deltones" performed Lady GaGa on NBC Monday night.

Lynbrook native and her a capella group, the University of Delaware Deltones, performed "Edge of Glory" by Lady GaGa and "You Can't Hurry Love" by The Supremes Monday night on The Sing-Off.

The group received positive reviews from judges for their performance, advancing to the next round. Shawn Stockman, of Boyz II Men fame, had kind words for the group's opening performance of Lady GaGa: "Great job, really solid. I was concerned about the [Lady GaGa] choice - but you guys did a really great job."

The reviews were less positive for the group's next performance, however. Judge Ben Folds said of the "You Can't Hurry Love" song, "There are times when its starting to fall apart."
