Freaky Weather Doesn't Damper Spirits at Malverne Youth Halloween Party

Saturday's strange snowstorm moved the village Youth Board's Ragamuffin Parade inside but kids still enjoyed the festivities.

Although , costumed kids in Malverne continued to celebrate Halloween at the annual Ragamuffin Parade Saturday, although this year the event was moved indoors.

As a mix of snow and rain fell outside Village Hall, an assortment of characters - Little Red Riding Hood, Yo Gabba Gabba, a dragon, a princess and others - decorated pumpkins, ate treats and had their faces painted.

A big highlight of the event was the amazing balloon creations by Tom, a cowboy-hat-wearing balloon artist, who crafted unique hats, an inflatable jet pack and even a bicycle!
