Malverne Realty Merges With Coach Realtors

Village officials join Anne Coffey and her staff at a ribbon cutting to commemorate the recent merger.

Malverne Realty Company is sporting a new identity these days. The local real estate business, which has served the community for more than three decades, recently merged with Coach Realtors, the largest independent real estate firm on Long Island.

Under the acquisition, Coach's third over a 60-day period, Anne Coffey, the owner/broker of Malverne Realty and 10 real estate sales associates from her firm became part of Coach Realtors. Financial terms of the transaction have not been disclosed.

Coffey has already replaced the signage on her storefront located on Hempstead Avenue and on Oct. 23, she held a ribbon-cutting ceremony with village officials and colleagues to commemorate the merger.

"Anne Coffey is an excellent realtor and a well-respected member of the Malverne business community for the past 30-years,” stated Mr. Lawrence P. Finn, owner of Coach Realtors in making the announcement of the acquisition. "We believe that this merger benefits Coach by allowing us to work with an incredibly dedicated team of highly professional real estate associates who have a strong commitment to, and knowledge of, the area. We in return will provide each sales person with more of the tools and resources required to meet client expectations in this very competitive and increasingly changing real estate market."
