The Tri-State Transportation Campaign released its latest list of the region's deadliest roads this month and for the fourth consecutive year, our very own Hempstead Turnpike is the worst.

  1. Deadliest Roads: Coming up later this morning, learn what local roads are considered a pedestrian's worst nightmare and why Hempstead Turnpike continues to top the list of deadliest roadways in the Tri-State area.
  2. School Boards: Both the West Hempstead and Malverne Boards of Education will hold meetings tonight at 7:30 p.m. and 8 p.m., respectively. West Hempstead will be conducting a budget workshop, while Malverne its monthly business meeting. Check back to see what's on their agendas.
