March 29: H.S. League Play Gets Underway, Mayor to Meet with Lynbrook Chamber

Five things you need to know today in Lynbrook.

The following are five things you need to know today in Lynbrook and/or on Patch:

1 — Lynbrook Mayor Bill Hendrick is meeting with members of the Lynbrook Chamber of Commerce this morning to discuss what his plans are for the Village of Lynbrook. Patch will have the story later this week.

2 — No. 92 in the Patch "" will be posted later today. See if there's something or somewhere in the village you haven't experienced yet.

3 — A big day for Lynbrook sports as league play gets underway for boys and girls lacrosse, boys baseball, and girls softball. Visit the site over the next couple of days, as Patch will have the results of these games posted.

4 — Lynbrook Patch is always seeking nominations for "Whiz Kids," a weekly feature highlighting a village youngster making a difference in their community. The accomplishment can have taken place in school, on the ball field, or elsewhere in Lynbrook. for details on how to make a submission.

5 — Renovations have begun on the roof of the Lynbrook Public Library. The facility will remain open, but residents may have to deal with some construction noise.
