  1. Last Minute Debate: The election for school board candidates (and budgets) in Malverne and West Hempstead is tomorrow, but a sudden change in the race for one open seat has prompted a last minute debate in one district. , Malverne's current board of education president, and a Malverne man who launched a "write-in" campaign last week, will speak to residents tonight at 7 p.m. in the Lakeview Library (1120 Woodfield Road). All are welcome to attend.
