  1. Malvernite Remembered: Local politicians, residents and family of Malvernite Kathy Sapuppo gathered outside the library on Saturday morning to remember the great woman they lost and honor the legacy she left behind. Watch a video report of the ceremony later today.

  3. School Board Meets: The West Hempstead Board of Education will hold a special work session tonight at 7:30 p.m. to discuss their goals for next year. The meeting, which is open to the public, will take place in the administration building on Chestnut Street.
