Nov. 15: School Boards, Chamber Meetings, Bank Robbery and More

There's two school board meetings, a Chamber of Commerce meeting, and much more. Here's a look at some of the top stories for Nov. 15.

  1. School Boards: Both the Malverne and West Hempstead Boards of Education will hold their regular monthly business meetings tonight. The West Hempstead school board will convene at 7:30 p.m. in the high school videoconference room and the Malverne board at 8 p.m. in the high school library. Look for the agendas later this morning to see what will be discussed tonight.
  2. Chamber of Commerce: The West Hempstead Chamber of Commerce will meet tonight at 6 p.m. atthe on Hempstead Turnpike. Among the topics to be talked about will be Small Business Saturday, which will be held on Nov. 26.
  3. Bank Robbery: Police are still searching for a man they say robbed a bank in West Hempstead Monday afternoon. for the story.
