Oct. 10: Columbus Day; New Lynbrook Editor

• Today is Columbus Day - Lynbrook schools, the post office, and most banks will be closed today.

• Students are out of school today, but there are still sports going on. The Lynbrook boys soccer team , 11 a.m. at North Middle School.

• The Lynbrook varsity swim team is also in action, as they, 10 a.m.

• Looking to join the gym? Rok Fitness, located at 510 Ocean Avenue in East Rockaway, is not open yet but you can follow them on Facebook for updates - the gym is "in the final stages of construction," according to their page. Check it out!
