Nassau Boulevard was full of life Sunday as the community came out for the annual street fair.

It was the perfect way to usher in the fall season. The cool crisp weather brought out many residents and visitors to Nassau Boulevard in West Hempstead Sunday to enjoy the community's annual street fair.

Throughout the day shoppers strolled from tent to tent, scooping up handcrafted goods ,while kids jumped from bouncy castle to bouncy castle. Virtually every local organization from the Chamber of Commerce and Civic, the Historical Society, the Auxiliary Police and Lakeview Volunteer Fire Department, to the PTSA and West Hempstead Broncos, among others, were all represented.

The Lakewood Stables offered pony rides through the newly re-opened Halls Pond Park and Lady of America held fitness classes on the temporary stage, inviting passersby to participate.
