Sept. 20: Girls Soccer Game, Bites Nearby and 100 Things

Good morning, Lynbrook! Here are five things you should check out for this Tuesday, Sept. 20:

1. Today will bring a chance of rain showers, according to the National Weather Service. The chance of rain is 40 percent and high temperatures will reach around 73 degrees.

2. In case you missed it, Patch published a story on the ’s 20th annual carnival that took place this past weekend. There were rides, games and plenty of food for all guests to enjoy. Find the full story .

3. The Lynbrook High School girls varsity soccer team will take on Valley Stream South today at home at 4:30 p.m. Head over to the school to cheer on the Lady Owls!

4. Check back at 3 p.m. for a story on how Nassau County will be spraying for mosquitoes due to the West Nile Virus. Lynbrook is currently scheduled to be sprayed on Wednesday evening. Stay tuned for additional information.
