Sept. 21: School Board Seat Filled, Callahans Receive Gift, Ghost Hunting and More

The wait is over.

After months of wondering whether or not the West Hempstead school board would appoint a new trustee to fill the seat that opened up in June and who would be tapped for the job, the Board of Education made a decision Tuesday night.
