Five things you need to know today in Lynbrook.

Good morning, Lynbrook! Here are five things you should check out today in town:

1. Looks like we have another cloudy day in store for Lynbrook on this Monday. According to the National Weather Service, there is a chance of rain and thunderstorms throughout the day. Highs will reach 77 degrees.

2. Lynbrook High School had its much awaited homecoming this weekend. The Owls topped Division Avenue High School with a 42-21 victory. Come back later today for full coverage of the big game.

3. In case you missed it on Friday, Patch published its weekly column “On the Farm,” which documents happenings and news at the Crossroads Farm at Grossman’s in Malverne. This week, we learned that pumpkins are now available at the stand, as well as a variety of produce. Find the full story .

4. Head over to the today at 1p.m. for “,” which is an open discussion forum for residents.  At 3 p.m., they will hold “” -- a story time for children ages three and up with their caregiver.
