Shelter Animal of the Week: Meet Pops

This senior Shepherd mix is shy but sweet and in need of a good home.

Case Number: #1971

Pops here. I am a senior male Shepherd mix who is looking for a family. Right now I am staying at the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter in Wantagh but I'm hoping someone will adopt me into their loving home.

I am shy at first but when given a chance, I am very affectionate and sweet. I am up to date on vaccines, altered and will be microchipped upon adoption.

Come to the shelter and check me out. To learn how you can adopt Pops, contact the Town of Hempstead Animal Shelter in Wantagh at (516) 785-5220. Adoption hours are Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 4:45 p.m.
