It's been 62 days since Santa stopped in Malverne and West Hempstead to deliver presents to the good local boys and girls, but just this week our photographer spotted the red-suited Christmas icon still hanging around the neighborhood. (And his reindeer too!)
Blame it on the storms that have dropped several inches of snow on the area since Dec. 26 for preventing your neighbors from taking down their holiday decorations. Or maybe some stand behind the belief that their red bows, wreaths and wicker reindeer are not specific to Christmas, but rather fall under the "It's for winter." clause. (If that's the case you may continue to see this decor as late as March 20, the first day of spring.)
We're not judging but we did want to share the photos here. Click through the gallery to the right and feel free to upload your own pictures of your neighbors' holiday lawn ornaments or proudly display your own outdoor celebration of Christmas in February.
