Malverne-WH-Lynbrook Voter's Guide to Election Day 2013

Local residents will hit the polls Tuesday in the Nov. 5 general election.

Tom Suozzi, who served as county executive from 2002 to 2009 when he was defeated in an upset by now-County Executive Edward Mangano, has entered the fray to get his old job back.

Meanwhile, voters will also choose their Nassau representatives and determine the makeup of the legislature, which has been controlled by the Republicans for years.
