Trees For The Troops

For the past 9 years The Dees’ Nursery & Florist has
joined forces with DHL, Adelis International Security and many members of the
local community to ship live Christmas Trees, 
Menorah’s, lights, decorations and holiday greeting cards from local
school children to the brave men and women of The United States Armed Forces
serving in Afghanistan.

Join us on Monday December 3rd at 10am at Dees
Nursery in Oceanside for the big sendoff. The trees get a police escort from
the Nassau County Police Dept, NYPD and other local police to JFK where they
will be loaded onto a waiting DHL 757 aircraft. From there they will fly to the
Middle East to help the military celebrate the holidays so far from home. There
will be many members of the military on hand as well as numerous veterans. This
is a great way for you to say hello and show your appreciation for their
bravery and commitment to the United States of America.
