Mr. Clavin will
speak and inform taxpayers on "How to Challenge their
Assessments". He will explain that if they believe that
their property is over assessed, they should consider grieving their
taxes. The Grievance process may result in a lower assessment and thus
reduce their property taxes. Their assessment cannot be raised as a result of a challenge. Residents
may file a challenge from January 2, 2014 through March 1, 2014. Free. Registration begins Thursday, January 2, 2014
