WTC Memorial Fundraising: An Evening of Wine & Roses

The West Hempstead Community Support Association will be
holding several fundraising events throughout the year to raise money the first
ever 911 World Trade Center Memorial in Halls Pond. The first fundraising event,
“An Evening of Wines and Roses” will take place on March 8, 2014, from 8:00 pm-
10:00 pm at the West Hempstead Fire House, located at 295 Hempstead Turnpike,
West Hempstead, NY 11552. 

The event will feature a variety of wine tastings paired
with decadent chocolates.  Light hors d’oeuvres will be served. Be prepared to sway to live classical music!  All proceeds will go to the World Trade
Center Memorial Fund.  The cost of the
event is $15 per person or $25 per couple. 
Those interested can also help to decorate the event by sponsoring a
rose at $5 each, or $50 per dozen.  If
