This service is free to members of the Malverne Civic Association. You can join the association for $10 at the event. (Non-residents can participate in the program for $15.) Bring computers, cell phones, old answering machines, printers, copiers and various other electronics you need to dispose of safely. There will also be on-site shredders so you can safely shred sensitive documents. The Malverne Police Department will also be running a program in conjunction with the Malverne Civic Association during this event to encourage residents to turn in their expired drugs and firearms.
