Garage and tag sale season is in full swing right now. Here's a look at seven happening in the neighborhood and surrounding area this Saturday.
Malverne Historical Society's Joseph L. Landers Memorial Restoration Home, 369 Ocean Ave., Malverne
The Malverne Historical Society is having their Spring Trash & Treasure sale on May 12 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.. There will be more than vendors selling antiques, crafts, books, jewelry, baby items, attic treasures, gently-used items and so much more. Vendors are still welcome. It's $25 per space. The Andy Foundation will be hold its 9th annual Tag Sale this Saturday, May 12 from 9 a.m. -1 p.m. featuring a wide selection of items that have been donated to the non-profit's High Top Shop in recent weeks.
293 Roquette Ave, Floral Park
Just in time for Mother's Day, this tag/garage sale on Saturday, from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m., will feature lots of female items great for mom, grandma, daughter or sister including jewelry, pocketbooks, and summer clothes. Most items are brand new and still have the tags on them. Others are like new or slightly worn. There will also be items for the home, DVDs, toys and more. Click here for additional details.

This huge antique and modern garage sale will take place May 12 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. The organizer will "be selling everthing," including some new items." Prices are considered fair and negotiable by the owner, who is willing even sell at bulk prices. This large garage sale will feature designer clothing, accessories, handbages, jewlery, shoes, toys, an Xbox, household items and much more. It will take place on Saturday starting at 8 a.m.
Woodfield Rd and Eagle Ave, West Hempstead
This garage sale, taking place on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. will feature furniture, lamps, toys and more.
35 Verbena Ave, Floral Park
This Spring Fair on Saturday from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. will be featuring plants, handmade crafts, delicious food, and an eclectic thrift store that's chock full of goodies. Among the items for sale are some very unusual jewelry, hand-crafted pendants, charm bracelets and necklaces that feature genuine seaglass, shells, semi-precious stones, Swarovski crystals, vintage beads, and more. All are reasonably priced and would make great Mother's gifts for your one of a kind Mom!
