Malverne Teacher Honored for Tenure

By Danielle Lambert

At the Nov. 12 meeting of the Malverne Board of Education, one teacher was honored for having been granted tenure. Teachers who are granted tenure must exhibit strong leadership skills and complete a multiyear process of proving themselves worthy of the Malverne name.

Tenure award was given to Lauren LaRocco, who has taught ESL at MWD, Davison and HTH.
