Big Turnout at Pumpkin Painting and Safety Event in West Hempstead

National Wholesale Liquidators recently held their first annual Pumpkin Painting Contest and Safety event, with children having fun and parents learning Halloween safety tips at the same time.

"The turnout was great and fun was had by all," said Vita Zorbo, Community Relations Manager. "A special thanks to Judge Joy Watson, Nassau County First District Court, for your skill of excellent judging!"

Also on hand was Officer Miller from the Nassau County Police Department, who shared safety tips with the parents.

"We would also like to thank Assemblyman Ed Ra and Legislator Vincent Muscarella for supporting our efforts," Zorbo said. "We appreciated your dedication to Nassau County’s residents and businesses."

Judge Joy Watson was in charge of judging the pumpkins, and had a difficult decision to make because there were many great works of art.

"Congratulations to our two prize winners of movie tickets," said Zorbo. "But everyone that participated was a winner, they got to take their pumpkins home!"
