Reminder: Malverne to Light Menorah Wednesday

Village menorah to be lit as Chanukah begins.

As the sun sets over Malverne, the community will gather for the annual Lighting of the Menorah.

The ceremony, beginning at 5:30 p.m. Wednesday, will commemorate the first night of Chanukah.

Community members can gather at the Malverne LIRR station. The menorah sits near the fountain by the parking lot.

After the ceremony, the Malverne Jewish Center will host an open house in the Berger Room.
