Tips To Know Before You See Disney On Ice "Treasure Trove"

Thinking of going to see Disney On Ice "Treasure Trove" at Nassau Coliseum? Here's a few thing to "know before you go."

What can I say? Whether it's in Orlando, California or on Long Island, the Disney experience simply does not, cannot EVER disappoint. I've been to Disney World twice over the last 10 years with the most recent being last spring. However, I have never seen a Disney On Ice performance.

The costumes were totally Disney quality and precision, even down to the shape of Rafiki's butt. Even in Section 305 Row K, I could still see it. My seats were horrible, near one of the spotlights and the pirate ship briefly obstructed by a flag during the Peter Pan segment, but we still enjoyed the show.

My inner Michelle Kwan surfaced making me wish I had taken up ice skating. I still don't understand how you can swing a female ice skater by both feet dipping oh so close to the ice without actually hitting the ice itself.

The first half of the show was 40 minutes. Unfortunately we missed the beginning of the show as we waited for our tickets to be processed at Will Call, but towards the end of the show we saw Mulan, Belle, Cinderella, and I can't recall if Pocahontas was in the finale or not. So, I'm going to assume they all opened the show. Darn it!
