urSwim is just what busy moms like you want. Who has the time to run the kids to swim class for 30 minutes only to find that your usual teacher has changed their schedule or has had to return to college? Aren’t we busy enough as it is? This means your kids have to waste a class while the new instructor has to “assess” your child’s skill level (wasting your time, a week’s worth of lessons, and money), before telling you your kid can swim. Duh!!
That’s where urSwim comes in. If you are fortunate to have a swimming pool (or can borrow your neighbors), urSwim brings the swim class to you and teaches your kids how to swim right in your very own backyard. How cool is that?
I met the founder of urSwim, Marina Montez, an attorney who graduated from UNC at Chapel Hill, years ago during one of many Miss New York Pageants where she placed in the Top 10 every year. After law school, she immediately began working on the launch of her business which is benefiting moms across Long Island.
