Weight Loss Requires a Commitment to Ourselves

Have you decided that you'd like to lose some weight, but don't seem to be achieving the results you'd like?

Have you decided that you’d like to lose some weight, but don’t seem to be achieving the results you’d like? The first and most important step to weight loss is to start being honest with yourself! Weight loss doesn’t magically happen. It’s a full time job and commitment that sometimes we try to pretend we are making.

We all try to justify allowing ourselves little bits of cheating here and there, but in fact, these slip-ups are bringing our progress to a halt. Sneaking in one spoonful of ice cream, or stealing one french fry from your kid’s plate is not going to allow you to lose weight. “It was only one bite," everyone responds. But in fact, only one spoonful, one bite, or one taste can really add up! With large amounts of sugar and fats in these “cheats," we end of ruining our diet by the end of the day.
