Take a Spooky Walk at Tanglewood

The whole family will enjoy Spooky Fest this Friday through Monday at the Tanglewood Preserve.

Get in the Halloween spirit this weekend by taking the family to the Tanglewood Preserve for Spooky Fest.

The Center for Science Teaching and Learning (CSTL) is hosting its annual Halloween Family Adventure Friday through Sunday from 6:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. featuring activities for kids of all ages. The event has been voted by parents as one of the bests haunt on Long island for kids.

There's the popular Scary Walk through the woods, which has been transformed for Halloween with eerie lighting, special effects, and surprise characters along the way. For younger children and those who frighten easily, there is also a Not-So-Spooky Walk through the Friendly Forrest, as well as crafts, a live animals exhibit and yummy goody-bags for the first 200 kids each night.

All-inclusive admission is only $10 for children and $5 for adults. One-hundred percent of all proceeds from the event will go toward supporting the Center for Science Teaching and Learning, a not-for-profit organization with the mission of encouraging science learning and literacy. CSTL offers a wide range of services including a nursery school, summer camp, workshops and other events throughout the year, giving people of all ages opportunities to study science topics in an exploratory and inquisitive way.
