The Mommy's Guide: This Week's Top Picks!

My top three events to go to this week (Tuesday-Friday).

Hello Again! I hope everyone's weekend was as lovely as mine! Hopefully I can help you make your week just as pleasant by giving you my top three things to do this week.

If you don't have a busy day ahead of you why not go to Pottery Barn Kids on Tuesday at 11 a.m. for their in-store free story time. Make sure you sign up for their children's passport -- when you go to five story times they give you a $10 gift certificate!

On Wednesday there is a farmers market at Long Beach Kennedy Center from 10 a.m. -6 p.m. So if it's a nice day, why don't you stop by and then go for a nice long walk on the boardwalk?

Thursday marks the beginning of the Montauk Music Festival which will run until May 20. This festival includes 90 bands playing at 30 different venues/restaurants. For a complete list and where performances will be held, please visit their website: http://themontaukmusicfestival.com/.

Just a couple of little things you guys may not know. If your child has an account at TD bank, make sure they participate in their reading program this summer that is running from May 5 to Sept. 29. Your child, upon finishing their 10 books (and handing the form into the bank), will have $10 deposited into their bank account!

If you need a reason to celebrate, this Wednesday is National Love A Tree Day. Celebrate by going outside, sitting beneath your favorite tree and showing it that you care! Thursday is National Cherry Cobbler day, so why don't you crack down and make one for you and your family? Can't be that hard right? Or, you can just go to the store and buy one -- then say you made it!

For the full list of this weeks, unique national holidays please visit our website!

Finally, "The Mommy's Guide... " is holding a giveaway, please visit the website for details! Alright that's it for me, so until this Friday my dears, when I post the weekends top three activities, spend your time wisely!
