This Week's Top Picks: June 9-15

My kid friendly top picks for this week!

Hello everyone! I hope we all dealt with the heat without the use of swear words or crying (neither of which I do).

This week's weather looks good, and so do the events. This Tuesday Is National Teddy Bear Picnic Day! I want everyone to celebrate and to share their celebrations with The Mommy's Guide.

Now it doesn't' have to be Tuesday if you are busy, we can skip the formalities, but everyone go and have a teddy bear picnic -- if its too hot, have one indoors. Make it special with treats and games and, of course, your teddy bears!

Then take a million pictures. Take the best one and send it over to me themommysguide@gmail.com so that I can post it on my site next week! Our week starts on Sunday, so have it over to me by then. I am even going to be holding a gathering this Tuesday!

Now, back to business, this weeks top picks!

That’s very nice that school districts that have the highest school taxes and costs, areRead More receiving additional money. The problem is that our state is in dire financial trouble and we can’t afford it. Upstate NY is a distressed disaster. How much more taxes are we going to pay?. Hear those feet marching out of state. Try fighting for drilling so we have jobs and revenue.

.......there they go again whitewashing a dilemma they don't want to touch......unconscionableRead More salaries and pensions paid by the taxpayer for incompetence? Not to mention 13 week vacations as well as numerous 1/2 days and weather shortened days. A $50000 band aid we end up paying indirectly anyway only increases taxes further down the road. They are either that stupid or they think we are!
