This Week's Top Picks: May 30 - June 3

This Week's Top Picks, Wednesday, May 30, through Sunday, June 3. Find out what is happening this week on Long Island!

Hello everyone! I hope everyone had a great Memorial Day weekend! I know we did -- especially after the spectacular fireworks display that Lynbrook had. Great fun! It is nice to sit back, relax and enjoy time with friends and family, and to think and thank all those who gave so much for all we have now.

Now we are officially into summer. Oh boy, let the fun begin! Here are my top picks this week. As always if you have an event you would like to add please contact me, as well as any local charities. You can reach me directly at themommysguide@gmail.com

Wednesday: Family Bounce Night at Bounce U Farmingdale. All ages bounce time on the inflatables at 5 p.m. $12.95.

Address: 101 Carolyn Blvd., Farmingdale, NY 11735. Phone (631) 777-5867 (bounceu.com)

Thursday: Lynbrook's Farmer's Market  7 a.m. - 1 p.m., Forest Avenue

Friday: June 1 is National Donut Day - Head to Dunkin Donuts and get a free donut with any beverage purchase. Sounds like a deal to me!

The happenings this weekend include not one, but two strawberry festivals, a pig roast, the Nassau County Art Museum Sculpture Park and more. All of them are great and all of the details are available on the site www.themommysblog.com.

As for my top pick for the weekend? Lido Beach Nature Preserve is where we will be headed and I think you should be too! My fellow Mommy's Guide blogger Christina went there recently and said it was amazing. Click here for her full review.

So until next time, make sure you spend your time wisely ...
