Three Free Things to Do This Week: July 2-8

Don't spend money on entertainment this week, spend it on HOT DOGS! Look at our top three free things to do this week! July 2-8!

Well Summer has ABSOLUTELY arrived -- what is going on with this heat? Definitely cramping our style. Thank goodness for the Lynbrook pool! What a life saver.

This week we get to celebrate the Fourth of July and I hope we all take time out of our day to be thankful for what we have. Yes, times are definitely tough, yet we are so lucky to have what we do have and the opportunities that we have been given just by being born here.

So yes, barbecue, grill, swim, play laugh and just embrace all that America has given us, and all those who fought to give it to us! We can always continue to complain tomrrow.

Since we are sure to be spending plenty on all our favorite BBQ goodies, here are my top FREE events going on this week!

That’s very nice that school districts that have the highest school taxes and costs, areRead More receiving additional money. The problem is that our state is in dire financial trouble and we can’t afford it. Upstate NY is a distressed disaster. How much more taxes are we going to pay?. Hear those feet marching out of state. Try fighting for drilling so we have jobs and revenue.

.......there they go again whitewashing a dilemma they don't want to touch......unconscionableRead More salaries and pensions paid by the taxpayer for incompetence? Not to mention 13 week vacations as well as numerous 1/2 days and weather shortened days. A $50000 band aid we end up paying indirectly anyway only increases taxes further down the road. They are either that stupid or they think we are!
