The well know Long Island based John Thiessen Children's Foundation are having to turn down requests because of the 40 percent drop in donations this year I understand that times are tough and we are all having troubles whether financially or otherwise. Because of this we forgot that there are so many other people out there that don't have as much as we do- and that's OK, it happens. What's not OK is letting these kids down. So, I am calling you all out! Donations will be taken until Monday at the foundations Location in Wantagh. Please bring a new unwrapped toy and help a child in need have the kind of Christmas that we all want our own child to have. If for some reason you cannot take the ride out to their HQ, you can make a donation online or drop them off here at the Mommy's Guide, we will drive those gifts out personally on Monday by 12pm.
