No. 57: Check Out Holiday Celebrations in Lynbrook

One of 100 things to do in the village.

No. 57 in the Patch series, “” is to make plans to take the kids to the on Sunday, Dec. 4 and then Monday the at West End School.

Following last weekend’s huge success of arriving on the fire truck and greeting all the children, this weekend's holiday events you won’t want to miss.  

Starting at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday is the annual winter celebration, which will have something for the whole family. The official starts 4:15 p.m.  

There will be also be a Santa House for the children, to meet Santa Claus and tell him what they are hoping for this year. As you walk around, Christmas carols will be sung to help put you in that holiday mood. Horse drawn sleighs, rides and much more will be on the streets of Lynbrook Village until 7:00 p.m.

This event is a huge success every year. Everyone will go home with a smile on their face and know the holiday season in Lynbrook is fully underway.

While you are in the holiday spirit and maybe hoping to find that special gift this year, why not check out the ? It is hosted by the West End PTA, on Monday Dec. 5 from 6:00 – 9:30 p.m.

Here you will find not only unique gifts, but they are also affordable. Refreshments and snacks will be offered for sale. Children will also receive a complimentary craft.
