What’s Your Favorite Place to Eat Out as a Family?

The region has a lot of restaurants – but where’s the best place to take the kids?

From the Cooperage Inn west of Riverhead to Orient By the Sea in Orient Point, there’s no shortage of restaurants in the area. And this time of year, it’s nice to liven up the doldrums with a night out to eat with the family.

With all the choices, we want to know where you head when you pack up the van with the children. Let us know in the comments below. Please note that your comments might be used in a future Patch story.

In Mattituck we have nothing except McDonald's to bring children into for a family dinner. Not Legends for that is the bar scene, So I'd love to hear anything in Mattituck.

Legends? Maybe the old Legends but the new Legends certainly priced out families.

You need to try The Crazy Fork, The Four Doors, Love Lane Kitchen and A Mano's, all places to dine with the family. The last time I was in Legends with my family the dining area was completely separated from the bar area. The "bar scene" didn't intrude on our dining experience at all.
