President Barack Obama openly backed gay marriage during an interview on "Good Morning America" Thursday.
"I've always been adamant that gay and lesbian Americans should be treated fairly and equally," Obama told ABC's Robin Roberts.
Additionally, on Sunday, Vice President Joseph Biden told NBC's "Meet The Press" that he was personally comfortable with same-sex marriage, according to The Huffington Post.
While the President's statement will have little political impact, as such decisions are left to the individual states and courts, Patch wants you to weigh in on this controversial topic.
