343 Flag Salute Honors Fallen 9/11 Heroes

A New York City firefighter turns the front lawn of his West Hempstead home into a tribute for his brothers who perished on 9/11.

It's impossible to drive past this West Hempstead home without stopping to take in this breathtaking site.

Stretching across the lawn of 422 Roosevelt Boulevard are 334 American flags.

Each one symbolizes a firefighter who rushed to the World Trade Center on 9/11 but never returned. They were all brothers to the New York City firefighter who created this tribute in front of his home as the 10th anniversary of the attacks approaches, and they'll always be heroes, "gone but never forgotten," to us all.
