Bye-Bye Buses: Final Scorched School Bus Leaves Davison Avenue

The last of three buses that were torched in a fire at Davison Avenue School was removed from the crime scene yesterday.

It had a short life. The last of the three at Davison Avenue School on Sunday were finally towed away from the school property yesterday. The charred buses had remained parked for days in the school yard,which had become a crime scene after someone to the vehicles on Nov. 7.  The district had just purchased the buses brand-new in late August for its parochial high school students.  The bomb squad, fire marshal and insurance company have all completed of the scene and are considering the case to be arson.

These photos are of the middle bus, which investigators suspect was where the perpetrator started the fire and was the first to become . They were taken just as the tow truck was preparing to remove the bus from the school premises.
