Car Strikes Tree on Hempstead Avenue

West Hempstead firefighters, EMS and Nassau County Police respond to crash.

One man was injured late Friday afternoon after he lost control of his vehicle and struck a tree on Hempstead Avenue in West Hempstead.

The and EMS personnel responded to the scene along with Nassau County Police and EMS.

The July 13 accident occurred near Hempstead Gardens Drive, opposite the West Hempstead train station. The injured man was transported by county ambulance to an area hospital.
